LONDON, May 19 (PRIME) -- The U.K. has imposed financial sanctions against Russian airlines Aeroflot, Rossiya Airlines, and Ural Airlines in the form of an asset freeze, the British Foreign Ministry said in a document published on Thursday.
The reason for the sanctions was that the ministry thinks these airlines benefit from and support the Russian government by doing business in a strategically important sector.
